Since 1955, UCP-CDS has provided direct services to people with developmental disabilities in Illinois. The Agency has evolved from one program to a multi-service organization serving children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The UCP-CDS accreditations include the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities CARF, National Association of Special Education Teachers NASET, and Guidestar Exchange Gold.
