Family Support & Home Based Services

Family Support & Home Based Services

Family Support & Home Based Services was established in 1980. Families participating in the family support program will find comfort in the resources to assist with caring for your child or dependent within your home. Additional resources include home care and relief to families, counseling, advocacy and psychological evaluations.

In the Home-Based Support services component of Family Support, families are given a monthly budget. Through the use of a self-directed assistant, a plan is developed to support a person in their area of need. Services may include; personal support, adapted equipment, augmentative communication, home modifications, behavior intervention, counseling, supported employment, and therapies.
